Your Feedback
Published by Allan Rock on Wednesday October 7th, 2009 – 11:38 AM -It’s great to have your comments on the blog. Keep them coming. I’ll do my best to answer specific questions and concerns.
In one of my previous posts, Rock Talk reader Dave Bryce commented on the 40th anniversary of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s visit to the University of Ottawa campus. Dave was curious to hear my thoughts and impressions as host to John and Yoko - 40 years later. Here is a short audio comment I put together that sums up their historic visit to the uOttawa campus.

Most of all, I’m just very happy to establish some means of communicating with you. It’s not easy with almost 37,000 students on campus. I tried another method of communication last week by appearing in a first-year class of about 200 students. With the professor’s permission, I took about a half an hour of the class’ time to introduce myself, talk a little about the goals I’m working toward and to ask for questions and comments. I got quite a few, along with many email messages later in the day. It was a terrific experience, and one that I hope to repeat in other classes during the weeks ahead. I look forward to seeing you there!

Bonjour Monsieur,
Merci

Dear M. Rock: My recent book Give Peace A Chance: John and Yoko’s Bed-in for Peace 1969(Wiley & Sons) is territory you know well. Not sure if you are in any of the photos. I hope you get a chance to see the book. When did they visit? Right after the Bed-in or did they go back home to London and then returned again. Was Kyoko there?
Cheers
